Who are Dominos Pizza?

Domino’s Pizza Group is the UK’s leading pizza brand and a major player in the Republic of Ireland

 

How many stores do Dominos currently have?

We currently have over 1,300 stores in the UK and ROI

 

Target locations?

We will consider High Streets, Retail Parks, Neighbourhood Parades, Out of Town Retail; Industrial Parks and all other non-traditional locations.

 

How many new stores are you targeting?

Here at Domino’s we’re proud to be the number one pizza delivery brand. Whilst we have good coverage across the UK & Ireland we know there is huge potential for more stores and we’re aiming to open at least 55 new stores every year.

 

Size requirements?

850 sq.ft to 1,500 sq.ft. Our ideal size is 1,200 sq.ft. in our current format

 

Additional requirements?

- Ideally single floor with good configuration of space however our Property Team will review and complete initial store layout as required

- Good visibility & multiple signage opportunities

- Easy access plus dedicated parking preferred

 

Planning consent? 

Hot Food Takeaway – Planning Use Class (Sui Generis) – or the ability to obtain

 

Freehold or Leasehold?

We will consider both Freehold or Leasehold

 

Do you pay intro fees?

We will pay an introduction fee up to £15,000 where the site is approved and opens within 12 months.

 

Recent openings or new locations in the pipeline? 

 

New openings include the following:

Kirton, Boston – Business Park

Hailsham (Relocation) – ex-bank

Coal Island, Northern Island – small unit

Hayling Island, High Street

Edinburgh Craigmillar – Retail Park

What are the main challenges you face when acquiring new property?

Planning for change of use is becoming more challenging but based on recent changes to regulations this is no different to any other similar brand. Despite the challenges, Domino’s are a major global brand and make an ideal tenant for Landlords, with strong covenant strength and thanks to our proven track record running successful stores in communities across the UK& Ireland.
